DHARMA YOGA
is a flowing sequence of classical Hatha postures that purify the body while opening the hips and upper back, originated by NYC-based master yogi Sri Dharma Mittra - originator of the Master Chart of 908 Postures. This meditative yet vigorous Level 1-3 class is suitable for students with some previous yoga experience. Variations of poses are offered, so that beginners feel comfortable and advanced students are challenged. The goal is to challenge perceived limitations and to offer every pose to the Supreme Self. Each session includes instruction in classic yoga philosophy, and includes a simple breathing exercise and brief meditation.
