Interesting that he was a householder and favored carrying out worldly duties (as opposed to renunciation).
It is a real test of will to NOT chase after everything the mind desires in an office in downtown Chicago with many temptations so close by. And then not feel guilty about giving in to frivolous desires.
However, raising a family and doing a job (that hopefully helps sick people) brings happiness.
And thank you for a really nice weekend last weekend...
