MAHA SADHANA TOMORROW (FRI) NIGHT
7:30-9:30 at YogaNow
I just returned from studying with Sri Dharma Mittra, and boy am I sore!
But I'm thrilled to be teaching a Dharma Mittra Vinyasa Yoga Maha Sadhana workshop This Friday night at YogaNow.
There will be asanas and philosophy, chanting and breathing.
And perhaps I'll share a new (to me) balance pose I've never seen before, which we did on Tuesday....
as long as I master it first, of course.

Om Tryambakam yajamahe sugandhim pushhtivardhanam
Urvarukamiva bandhanan mrityor mukshiya maamritath
I saw that and I thought, my is she sore... "Mysore"
ReplyDeletei just read that cara in gaelic means "friend." was that intentional? (you proably already know this?)
ReplyDeleteDrey - you caught it! Well done!
ReplyDeleteBindi - my parents found the name in a baby book (we're not Irish). Apparently it means "again" in Lebanese!
In Italian Cara defines as dear one.
ReplyDeleteCara can be used in another sense, i.e. in the meaning of expensive as in :
-“La frutta è cara in questa stagione”( fruit is dear in this season);
-“La vita è cara”( the cost of living is expensive).
Thank you, Jepsen.
