LAGO
Today I stopped at the lake on the way home from teaching, and did some work.
The lakefront can also be a good place to meditate. If you know the right spot (and time of day), the Bad Men stay away.
Today I was near the Dog Beach, which was packed; apparently the dog days of summer are already upon us.
A man on the shore was feeding the birds.
But some preferred to watch.
On the way out a hunch was confirmed; the water level is rather low.
gosh, these photos are a reminder that i don't take advantage of living as close as i do to the lake front. hope you wore sunscreen or a hat C.K...
ReplyDeletep.s. i'm up in the middle of the night because of the storm. i was upset, but now i'm thinking "good! more water!"
I only recently started visiting the lake (at least once a week) and it's been a lifesaver...!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about water? Maybe I should go to South Street Seaport soon...
