Last night Dharma shared the highest truths for two hours straight.
Among other things, he told us that his guru said to practice all the paths of yoga (jnana, bhakti, hatha, karma, etc) to make faster spiritual progress, and to focus most on the one the sadhaka likes best.

Ha! that is beautiful, I interpret the "likes best" as the one that "resonates more with the student", how beaitufl. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThat does make sense. Thanks for sharing that insight! Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty much what Sri Swami Sivananda and Sri Swami Vishnudevananda taught as well (the satguru and guru in the Sivananda tradition, which I follow.) It makes a lot of sense to me too.
ReplyDeleteI believe Sri Dharma's teachings are directly from the lineage of Swami Sivananda thru his own Guru, Swami Kailashananda.
ReplyDeleteCara - is this correct?
Why do you want to know?
ReplyDeleteIf it's important to you, I suggest asking Dharma about it.
