"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do."

-Eleanor Roosevelt

  1. I so agree with this! Most people run away from fear and do all possible to stay in the comfort zone, thank you for this affirmation. Facing our fears, whatevere they may be is the path to progress.

  2. Way to pay attention to the teacher! :) Since the New Year started I've made a mindful attempt to not fear... I don't have large, looming fears, but it's the small ones- "what will they think?" "what if..." It's a good practice.
