DOES MY CAT LOOK FAT TO YOU?

I actually said this to someone last week*.

He was polite, and said Kirby looked "fine" to him.

Clearly, he'd had prior experience in this area.

*It dawned on me that Kirby might be overweight after meeting Smitty Smith (yes, that is his real name), an equally athletic Tabby whose belly does not hang down to the floor.

This photo shows Kirby's room, which is now in a state of anarchy. To show his displeasure with the pre-moving activity, he spent much of the day snuggled under the covers in the bedroom. I wanted to join him, but only did so after filling Box #50.

    Cara,
Are you staying in the city with this latest move??
Hopefully you're going to a place with consistent heat and post-WW II wiring.

  2. Yes, I'm going to Andersonville West (across from Thybony). I'm not sure about the wiring, but the new landlord says there are heat sensors in all the apartments. He comes highly recommended and does not collect rent in person. Also the previous tenant said the heat is good, and the people upstairs are quiet. There are always problems, but hopefully fewer this time around. Fingers crossed.

Your cat is well-nourished, curvy, large boned... but never fat! just kidding. I have no idea. Does Kirby engage in savasana more than the other poses?

  7. The other Kirby I know is a rather large man. It is hard to say if fat is in the name or the cat.

    Curvey.

  8. I think your cat looks okay, but I am fully incapable of having thin cats for some reason. :)
